As Safety and Compliance Specialist for Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO), you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety management and compliance monitoring in airBaltic continuous airworthiness management organization.

We will entrust you to

  • Participate in Technical department and airBaltic fleet safety management processes
  • Identify hazards, perform risk assessments and monitor implementation of the actions taken to mitigate the risks
  • Handle occurrence reports and process the reports in the safety and quality management system
  • Perform safety investigations of incidents and events associated with individual or organizational factors
  • Participate in safety trend monitoring
  • Plan internal audits or Inspections
  • Preparation of audit/inspection checklists
  • Conduct audits/inspections according to the required standards including audits of the suppliers to verify their ability to provide contracted services
  • Prepare Audit reports
  • Follow up, verify corrective actions and close findings
  • Prepare and maintain safety management and compliance monitoring documentation in accordance with the established procedures

What you will need to succeed

  • Engineering degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic or avionic studies relevant to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft
  • At least one year previous job experience in a similar position
  • Excellent English language skills
  • High level of precision and organizational skills, high sense of responsibility
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • EU citizenship or permit to work in EU

As an advantage

  • Experience within the aviation industry (continuous airworthiness, aircraft maintenance, airline safety/quality department)
  • Knowledge and understanding of EASA Regulations (Part-CAMO, Part-M, Part-145)
