/ Position: Senior Airworthiness Engineer
/ Location: Burgess Hill or Farnborough (Hybrid working can be agreed)
/ Working Hours: Full-Time, 40 Hours per week
We are seeking a Senior Airworthiness Engineer who will help to maintain and grow FlyerTech's enviable reputation that makes us our customers' independent CAMO of choice.
Building on over 18 years of success, FlyerTech are looking to add to our team which comprises of energetic, talented and customer focused individuals.
The Senior Airworthiness Engineer is an integral contributor to the Airworthiness Projects team and is required to expand the current and future ARC & PPI capacity workload. This role will support record reviews, ARC's Import/Export/Renewals, PPI's, and document reviews. You will work closely with customers and Airworthiness authorities as well as create and submit reports as required.
This role does require extensive travel and presence within different countries and establishments; therefore, flexibility is a key requirement.

/ Responsibilities:
- Compilation of reports following Aircraft Physical and Technical Records Audits
- Submitting reports on behalf of customers and the company to the various customers and relevant airworthiness authorities
- Working in partnership with the Airworthiness Projects team on various assignments and projects
- Project Management of ARC Import/Export/Renewals & PPI's or document reviews
- Working with various National Aviation Authorities
- Creation of reports demonstrating Airworthiness Compliance Requirements
- Liaising with Gama Aviation & FlyerTech's customers, providing the highest standard of service
- Mentoring and supporting current project department members in relation to obtaining form 4 signatory in the future
- Planning personal travel and hotel accommodation for various projects
- Reporting to the Airworthiness Projects Manager for various assignments and projects
Essential
- All candidates must qualify for an UK/EASA Form 4 in accordance with M.A707
- Hold a UK or EASA Part 66 B1 or B2 or Cat C AMEL (Aircraft engineers' licence) and/or Aeronautical engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance/CAMO experience.
- 10 Years aircraft maintenance/ CAMO
- Evidence of aircraft maintenance experience at an MRO or airline to fulfil form 4 qualification
- Significant customer liaison exposure and management experience, as well as experience dealing with aviation authorities
- Experience of QA systems
- Auditing of aircraft documentation and records
- Aircraft Inspection experience to carry out ARC physical surveys and PPI's
- Use of Microsoft office applications and computerised aircraft maintenance and project management platforms
- Self-motivating individual able to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines in an efficient manner
- Developed analytical and investigative skills, maintaining accuracy and output
- Effective written & verbal communicator, pro-active team member
- B737, A320 & Embraer 170/190 Type Rating will be a distinct advantage
- Project management qualification
- Previous ARC Form 4 holder
- Experience of Airbus, Boeing and Embraer aircrafts
- Previous experience managing aircraft management projects for leasing companies & MRO's
