Job Description

  • The open position if for a Senior composite technician with demonstrated experience in aeronautical composite components.
  • Technician will perform all tasks assigned by the manufacturing engineering team and/or the design office.
  • Technician will be required to sign for work order accomplished including troubleshooting deviations and ensure proper recording of all manufacturing tasks on company documents.
  • Properly tag and store all the parts manufactured.
  • Attend all training courses as assigned.
  • Comply with all company rules, regulations, and procedures set forth in company manuals and policies.
  • Keep a constant watch for safety, excessive cost of labor duplication, ensure proper and adequate equipment is used, acceptable parts or equipment arriving from suppliers.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing engineer or design & stress engineers to meet the level of quality and requirements fulfillment.
  • Technician will be responsible for keeping the work area clean and may be required to maintain or repair company property from time to time.
  • Wet lay-up and prepreg lamination.
  • Curing cycles with oven and thermal blankets
  • Knowledge on PPE and consumables
  • Experience with low fiber areal weight prepreg will be positively evaluated.
  • Availability to travel to US.
  • Good Level of written and spoken English

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Carbon fiber repair experience
  • Minimum of 4 years maintenance experience on composite aeronautical parts fabrication.
  • Other Preferred Qualifications
  • EASA Aircraft maintenance license B2 and/or B1
  • Wiring list and drawing, work experience
  • Harnesses manufacturing and on a/c integration experience
  • Pin to pin troubleshooting experience.
