We are currently looking for Warehouse Manager in Bucharest (Otopeni), Romania.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, preparation, and dispatch of parts, tools, and consumables. This role involves managing a team of storekeepers, ensuring accurate stock control, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. The Warehouse Manager will coordinate all warehouse activities, ensuring that all parts and components are handled, stored, and shipped in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.

YOUR TASKS:

  • Manage and delegate daily tasks to storekeepers, ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to the warehouse team, fostering a productive and efficient work environment.
  • Actively identify and resolve any issues related to inventory, delivery, or storage, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Work closely with customers and suppliers to anticipate potential challenges and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Plan ahead to ensure the timely delivery and availability of parts, avoiding any delays or non-compliance situations.
  • Oversee the receipt, acceptance, and storage of parts, tools, and consumables using a computerized inventory management system.
  • Ensure accurate and timely electronic transfers of stock, maintaining detailed records of inventory levels and movements.
  • Supervise the preparation of parts and tools for transport, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch to meet operational needs.
  • Conduct daily checks and monitor the shelf life of consumables and perishable items, ensuring all items are fit for use.
  • Ensure all parts and components are prepared and delivered on time, adhering to the standards of suppliers and contractors.
  • Oversee the periodic calibration and testing of tools and equipment, ensuring readiness for planned maintenance work.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports and records related to inventory, consumption, and warehouse activities.
  • Collaborate with the technical department to ensure the timely purchase or loan of tools and equipment as required.
  • Identify opportunities for improving warehouse operations, processes, and inventory management to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement best practices in warehouse management, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company policies.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

  • Level of education – A high school diploma, a high school diploma with a specialization in aeronautics, or a theoretical certification from a recognized educational institution.
  • Knowledge of English, minimum at B1 level.
  • Experience in personnel management and strong communication skills are essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience working with inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of mathematics (knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, arithmetic, statistics, and their application).
