Description PENDING CONTRACT AWARD SUMMARY This is a permanent position based in San Jose, Costa Rica. Complete fixed wing aircraft B250 qualification training then deploy to San Jose, Costa Rica. Provide fixed wing maritime operational support for the Department of State INLA program in support of the Host Nation Nationalization Program. WASS Pilot - FW - PC (TCN)

We are seeking experienced SAR Commanders on a fixed term basis with experience, energy and motivation to work to positively impact our business. Individuals will need to be able to adapt to changes in the workplace and be committed to the successful transition of this contract and safe delivery of operations. The role will be for the Irish Search &amp; Rescue Transition Team, supporting the operation across all four bases within Ireland - Shannon, Sligo, Waterford and Weston until the transition phase is complete. Your role is to safely plan and manage your respective duties on aeromedical evacuation flights, in close collaboration with the flight and ground crews. 
 
More specifically, you will:

<ul>
	<li>Carry out pre-flight inspections of aircraft and check passenger and cargo distribution to ensure compliance with weight and balance specifications;</li>
	<li>Ensure that all flight operations are carried out safely and in compliance with standards;</li>
	<li>Coordinate flight activities with ATC services, brief crew members on flight and checkout procedures, and direct crew members' activities during flight;</li>
	<li>Communicate with various stakeholders for various authorizations, instructions and needs;</li>
	<li>Carry out in-flight checks, monitor the operation of equipment and on-board systems, maintain contact with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters, as well as report and respond to all in flight emergencies and malfunctions;</li>
	<li>Maintain skills and participate actively in aviation related projects.</li>

Captain technical skills: 
 
ü Minimum 1,200 total flying hours, including a minimum of 500 hours on turboprop aircraft (single- or multi-engine); 
 
ü Canadian ATPL or CPL required; 
 
ü Instrument flight annotation group 1 or 3; 
 
ü Saron and Samra exams completed; 
 
Your assets prior to hiring :

	<li>PC12 qualification and/or experience</li>
	<li>Minimum 500 hours PIC ;</li>
	<li>Great North on gravel strips experience.</li>
