Duties and Responsibilities The Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Comply with and maintain an understanding of the Textron manuals suite and the procedures contained within it; • Ensure the policies, procedures and instructions published by the Company are adhered to; • Hold safety as a core value and contribute to the achievement of a zero harm and incident/injury free environment through active participation in all safety programs relevant to the position; • Report all safety related matters in accordance with the Safety Management System (SMS) and make appropriate recommendations to improve safety, productivity and efficiency; • Supervise unqualified maintenance personnel; • Ensure all Aircraft related certification paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with the system of certification and within Company and CASA deadlines; • Ensure all Maintenance Releases issued are in accordance with the release instructions; • Clear, concise and accurate written reports in logs, inspection reports and in parts identification for issue and return documents; • Perform a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on one or more aircraft models involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft mechanically for flight and delivery to customer; • Have sound knowledge of annual and progressive inspection procedures set forth in aircraft maintenance manuals; • Perform duties in a manner consistent with the latest state of the art and highest standards of safety for maintaining aircraft in the most airworthy and reliable condition for the customers' safety. • Certify for maintenance activities within delegated authority; • Observe and comply with all standards and procedures contained within the Civil Aviation Safety Authority Regulations, as well as individual aircraft systems and maintenance; • Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out to a high standard, ensuring integrity and robustness of aircraft to meet operational requirements; • Participate in aircraft recovery when necessary; • Service and clean hangar, tools and ground equipment as directed by the Chief Engineer; and • Obey all lawful instructions given by the Chief Engineer and Engineering Manager. Qualifications The person appointed as Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer shall: • Hold a CASA licence on at least one category of aircraft for which the job applies; • Have strong leadership and communication skills; • Have strong written, verbal and communication skills; and • Be acceptable to the Chief Engineer and Engineering Manager.

Reporting to the Line Maintenance Manager, your main accountabilities will include: Key responsibilities of this role are:: <ul><li>Carry out and certify for routine checks and defect rectifications on A320 / A321 aircraft systems and V2500 engines.</li><li>Carry out repairs to aircraft systems that may require exposure to or use hazardous equipment such as Fuel Tank repair, Hydraulic system repair, work at excessive heights such as using ground support equipment so as to reach top areas of the aircraft.</li><li>Maintaining the highest standards of airworthiness when performing inspections or maintenance duties.</li><li>All work is carried out using prescribed tools and equipment in accordance with the approved data and relevant work documents</li><li>Assist in the co-ordination of services with provided by other service providers.</li></ul> To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills &amp; experience: <ul><li>Possess a valid CAAS B1 or B2 licence for A320 / A321 aircraft</li><li>Holders of B1 licence must also have V2500 engine endorsement</li><li>Holders of full B1 licence (with avionics extension) would be advantageous</li><li>In addition to CAAS licence, holders of Australian CASA licence with A320 / A321 endorsement would be preferred</li><li>A team player, self-motivated individual and able to work independently</li><li>Must be able and willing to work on shifts</li><li>Must be able and willing to perform duty on flights as well as overseas for extended periods as required</li><li>Maintenance controller experience will be an added advantage</li></ul>
