Within the position of sheet metal worker you have the following tasks: You inspect, repair, modify and maintain aircrafts. You document deviations and manage tools and machines. You propose methods to improve efficiency and safety. It is critical to ensure that aircraft operate safely and efficiently. Where necessary, you will guide/on the job train junior sheet metal worker.Your luggageYou have +1-year experience as sheet metal worker within a civil and/or military aircraft maintenance surrounding. You also have excellent manual dexterity and strong communication skills in English, both oral and written, and you can read and understand technical English.Your flight planFokker Techniek offers a long-term contract (12 months+) followed by a permanent contract with excellent conditions on employee base.During your first months we will evaluate your skills as a sheet metal worker and where necessary offer (specific) in-house sheet metal training courses to expand your knowledge &amp; experience to the required level. By doing so, we are not only guaranteeing a successful deployment within the company but also expend your skills set!You not living in the region? No worries, we offer suitable short-term housing in the region for the first 6 to 12 months and will support you with finding permanent long-term housing after 6 months into your journey with Fokker Techniek.Ready to board?Are you excited about this challenge? You also have excellent manual dexterity and strong communication skills in English, both oral and written, and you can read and understand technical English. You have your own EU based (self-employed) company or are willing to set-up your own EU based company.&nbsp;Your flight planFokker Techniek offers contracts (6 to 12 months) with excellent conditions on contractor base.&nbsp;During your first days we will evaluate your skills as a sheet metal worker and where necessary offer (specific) in-house sheet metal training courses to expand your knowledge &amp; experience to the required senior level. By doing so, we are not only guaranteeing a successful deployment within the company but also expend your skills set!&nbsp;You not living in the region?
